Netflix has announced that it has renewed the drama series ‘The Diplomat’ for a second season.
Netflix renewed its second-best show of 2023 only two weeks after its premiere i.e. on April 20. The hit political drama was released on Netflix last month and immediately rose to No. 1 on the platform with 57.48 million view hours during the first weekend.
The Diplomat’s second season may be available to stream sooner than you think. According to Marie Claire, The Diplomat was originally announced in January 2022. Netflix released the series 15 months later, so if production runs smoothly, Season Two could be ready by next summer.
