The court has dismissed the drug case against the young accused, Mustafa Amir, who was murdered in January 2025. His arrest warrants were issued on February 22.
According to national media reports, the Anti-Narcotics Court closed Mustafa Amir’s case. In the drug case, Mustafa was named as Amir alias Taimoor, son of Amir Shuja.
The SHO of ANF Korangi stated that the accused, Amir alias Taimoor, had passed away. The SHO presented Mustafa’s death certificate and other documents.
After the SHO’s statement, the court dismissed the case against Mustafa. However, Ammar Hameed and Faisal Yaqoob were declared absconders in the case, leading the court to issue non-bailable arrest warrants against them.
Mustafa Amir’s arrest warrants were issued on February 22. The court had ordered his arrest and presentation before the court, stating that the accused had not appeared in court since April 30, 2024.
Two drug smuggling cases were registered against the accused in 2019. The arrested accused had smuggled drugs through a woman named Mary Johanna from Canada. A case against Mustafa and other suspects was registered in 2024.
It is worth noting that Mustafa Amir was murdered at the beginning of January by his friend Armaghan, with the help of his friend Shiraz. The accused brutally tortured Mustafa Amir, killed him, and then burned his body.
