Teenage maid found dead in Karachi
KARACHI: A 13-year-old maid was found dead in a house in Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on Monday night.
The body of the teenager was found hanging from a ceiling fan in the room where she was staying.
Her parents have said that their daughter was murdered after being raped. They said that she started working at the house of a man named Zeeshan four months ago.
They have claimed that Zeeshan and his two friends, Kashif and Usman, were involved in the murder.
Her father, however, said that the Ferozabad police have refused to file a case against the suspects. The parents have demanded justice for their daughter.
According to the SSP, the deceased’s parents cannot be trusted as they were not present there when the incident took place.
Similarly, last month, a teen maid was found dead in a house in Ichra area of Lahore. She was found dead in her room. Her family blamed the employers for their daughter’s death.
