In a village area of Sargodha, a 13-year-old girl was abducted and subjected to gang rape by four individuals at gunpoint for three months.
According to the police, the 13-year-old girl, a resident of the village 132 South in Sargodha, was kidnapped by a man from the village three months ago.
The accused took the girl to a house in Lahore under the pretense of a fake marriage, where he continued to exploit her. During this time, three of the accused’s friends also raped the girl at gunpoint and recorded videos.
However, after three months, the girl managed to escape from the clutches of the accused. The father of the victim stated that when he met his daughter after three months, her clothes were torn, and she was in a distressed condition.
The police have stated that a case has been registered on the complaint of the girl’s father, and a special team has been formed for the investigation, while the accused will be apprehended soon.
In many cities across Pakistan, teenage girls often find themselves victims of rape due to their ignorance and the innocence that comes with their young age. The lack of awareness about their rights and personal boundaries makes them vulnerable, as they may not recognize the signs of manipulation or coercion.
In some cases, young girls are often misled by individuals they trust, including relatives or close acquaintances, which complicates the situation further. They may find it difficult to speak out due to the shame and fear of being blamed or ostracized by their community.
