The upgraded Consulate General will now issue visas to Pakistani citizens planning to visit Tajikistan.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori inaugurated the new visa service during a formal ceremony attended by Tajikistan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, and other diplomatic representatives.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Toir expressed Tajikistan’s commitment to fostering Pakistan’s development and regional prosperity.
Initially, a visa consular has been appointed at the Karachi Consulate, with plans to expand the team as visa application volumes increase.
Governor Tessori emphasized that the new service will simplify the process for Pakistani nationals to obtain Tajik visas, thereby promoting tourism and strengthening exchanges between the two countries. He congratulated Ambassador Toir on the launch, describing it as a key achievement in enhancing Pak-Tajik bilateral relations.
