T20 World Cup: India sets 169-run target for England in semi-final

ADELAIDE: India has set a target of 169 runs to win the second final match of the T20 World Cup against England.

According to the details, England won the toss and invited India to bat. Captain Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came to bat, but Rahul could not stay at the crease for long and was dismissed for a total score of 9.

After KL Rahul’s return to the pavilion, former captain Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma batted and took the team’s total past 50. Rohit Sharma was also out on a total score of 56.

After captain Rohit Sharma returned to the pavilion, the partnership of Virat Kohli and Surya Kumar Yadav could not last long. Surya Kumar Yadav also got out after playing an innings of 14 runs on a total score of 75.

Virat Kohli scored a fifty off 40 balls and was caught out by Adil Rashid off Chris Jordan for a total score of 136. The Indian team scored 168 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Hardik Pandya was the sixth player to be dismissed after India’s brilliant batting. He scored the highest 63 runs in 33 balls.
