Syra and Shahroz part ways after seven years of marriage

KARACHI: Celebrity couple Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Yousaf  are rumoured to have separated and parted ways after seven years of marriage.

Syra and Shahroz have been married since October 2012. They have one daughter named Noori. The couple tied the knot in a intimate and private ceremony seven years ago.

According to fashion magazine Masala! a source informed that both have split up. They met at a mutual friend’s wedding when Syra was 18 and Shahroz was 19. They first shared screen during the famous television drama Tanhaiyaan.

Last year, both announced to work in a film together. They shared a BTS from their untitled film on Valentine’s Day 2018 but the project did take off and has seemingly been shelved. Both have yet to make any statement regarding their marriage.

Soon after rumours spread on social media that Shahroz was in a relationship with actress Sadaf Kanwal. Both were spotted together a cinema screening in the upscale DHA neighbourhood of Karachi. This purportedly created differences and the two have mutually separated since the past six months.

Earlier this year, actor Mohsin Abbas Haider divorced after his wife Fatema Sohail raised allegations of domestic violence and abuse. Later, actress  Aamina Sheikh and Mohib Mirza calling it quits after being together for almost 20 years.
