In the realm of Pakistani wedding customs, tales of opulent spending and unique grandeur are commonplace. However, in Swabi, a groom named Zakaria added a distinctive touch to his significant day by opting for an extraordinary mode of arrival.
Hailing from Swabi, Zakaria eschewed the conventional vehicle entrance and, instead, made a grand arrival at the forefront of his wedding procession using a helicopter. The helicopter gracefully touched down in Achini Bala, Peshawar, specifically at the residence of Rehman Shah, Zakaria’s father-in-law.
According to the police, the decision to rent the helicopter was at the behest of the bride-to-be. Accompanied by his wife, Zakaria, along with six others, enjoyed a lavish aerial journey. The reported cost for this unique mode of transportation amounted to Rs800,000.
The helicopter voyage spanned 40 minutes from Swabi to Achini Bala and an equal duration on the return journey. In total, Zakaria’s travel and stay for this memorable occasion summed up to three hours and 40 minutes.
