ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has sought a report in a case pertaining to a suspicious transaction of Rs 8 billion and extended the former president’s interim bail till 28th January.

Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard Asif Ali Zardari’s bail application in the case. During the hearing, Asif Ali Zardari’s lawyer Farooq H Naik argued that his client was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Karachi and the court had granted him bail on medical grounds in two cases.
