KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed a slowdown in business activities on Friday after Eid and a downward trend in business after which investors had to bear the loss of billions of rupees due to a fall of 80 points.
The last trading day of the week after the Eid-ul-Adha holiday saw a decline in the market due to a lack of interest from investors. The 100 Index fell by 80.19 points to 47793.07.
It is to be noted that the business trend in the stock market was in the positive zone before the Eid holidays and last week the market recorded a sharp rise.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) continued its bullish trend on Monday, rising 38 points, but the KSE-100 index remained at 47,800 points, with an increase in market capitalization of Rs 18 billion and an increase of 54.32 percent.
The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSE) witnessed a sharp rise in trading shares on Friday, the last day of the business week. The KSE-100 index closed at 47,800 points, up from 47,600, while the market capitalization increased by Rs 49 billion.
