State Bank announces ‘Summer Internship Program 2025’: How to apply

The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has launched its Summer Internship Program (SIP) 2025. This program will run for six weeks at SBP headquarters in Karachi from June 23 to August 1, 2025.

Pakistani and AJK citizens are eligible to apply. The last day to submit online applications is February 14, 2025. SBP will inform candidates who make the shortlist by March 14, 2025. These candidates must then provide scanned copies of their most recent official transcript CNIC, NICOP or a valid Pakistani passport, domicile, and a passport-sized photo.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must have completed at least two years of a four-year bachelor’s degree program or be enrolled in a master’s degree program.
• Eligible fields of study include Economics, Business Administration, Public Administration, Media Sciences/Mass Communication, Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Mathematics, Statistics, Human Resources, Agriculture, and Information Systems & Technology.
• Candidates must have at least 70% marks (in a percentage system) or a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 (or 4.00 out of 5.00).
• Graduates or students awaiting their final results are not eligible to apply.

Application Procedure

1. Open the internship application link in a supported browser.
2. Click on the ‘Apply Here’ button.
3. Enter and confirm a valid email address.
4. Provide your CNIC or NICOP number (13 digits, without dashes).
5. Complete the CAPTCHA and click ‘Submit’.
6. Check your email for a confirmation message to proceed with registration.
7. Select your status: Pakistani national studying at a domestic or international university.
8. Complete all required sections and click ‘Submit’.
9. A confirmation message will appear upon successful submission.
