MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor has revealed how online criticism over nepotism has affected her mental health.
The Zoya Factor actress while reacting to online bullying in an interview revealed how all the online abuse took a toll on her mental health and let to her stress levels escalating.
Sonam Kapoor expressed that she had some mentally stressful times in the last three or four months. “There is a lot of stuff that happens on social media, there is a lot of hate and talk of a lot of things,” Kapoor added.
“It put me in a very low and negative space. But now I am much better,” she further added. The Indian film industry witnessed a rise of a debate on nepotism after Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in which many stars with film backgrounds in their families, received backlash.
