BANNU: Terrorists have attacked a military post in the Datakhel area of North Waziristan, as a result of which a young Pakistani soldier was martyred.
According to details, the terrorists attacked the military post in response to which the security forces retaliated, however, in an exchange of fire, Pakistan Army soldier Hamid Ali was martyred.
The Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that security forces cordoned off the area after the terrorist attack while a search operation was being conducted to find the terrorists.

It may be recalled that terrorist attacks on Pakistan Army in North Waziristan have increased in recent days. Last month, terrorists also attacked the Pakistani army in North Waziristan.
Terrorists attacked security forces in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan on May 23, killing two soldiers and retaliating against the terrorists. The ISPR said that the terrorists attacked the security post while the Pakistan Army retaliated and destroyed the terrorists’ hideout.
