In various areas of Karachi, graffiti demanding that the city be handed over to the federal government or placed under military control has appeared on walls.

According to reports, unknown individuals painted the slogans overnight between Monday and Tuesday in areas including Liaquatabad, North Nazimabad, and Hyderi Market.

Videos and photos of the wall graffiti were later circulated on social media, drawing widespread public attention.

The development comes days after Mustafa Kamal, a federal health minister affiliated with MQM, criticised the 18th Constitutional Amendment and suggested placing Karachi under federal oversight, sparking renewed debate in the city’s political landscape.
