RAWALPINDI: Security forces shot dead six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Buleda, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said Wednesday.
In a statement, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the operation was conducted at a hideout of the terrorists.
The ISPR said that the terrorists were involved in recent terrorist activities in Kech, adding that the terrorists opened indiscriminate.
“These terrorists were involved in recent terrorist activities in Kech. A cache of arms & ammunition recovered from the terrorist hideout,” it added.
Earlier this month the security forces had killed at least twenty terrorists in the Panjgur and Naushki operations after the security forces completed a clearance operation.
The military’s media wing had said that the terrorists had attacked security forces’ camps at Naushki and Panjgur and that both the attacks were “repulsed successfully by prompt response from troops” at both locations.

ISPR in a statement had said that nine terrorists were killed in Naushki, while four security forces personnel, including an officer, embraced martyrdom during the shoot out.
In Panjgur, security forces repulsed the terrorist attack after intense exchange of fire and terrorists fled from area, it had said.
