KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah has said that Sindh players have been ignored in the national team like in the past.
Syed Nasir Hussain Shah said that when the national cricket team was announced, not a single player from Sindh was included in it. Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government made it clear that the people of Sindh would not remain silent on this discrimination.
Head coach Misbah-ul-Haq announced the national cricket team for the Zimbabwe cricket team’s tour of Pakistan would arrive. Announcing the squad at a press conference, he said that Fakhar Zaman, Haider Ali, Haris Sohail, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdal Shah, and Muhammad Hafeez have been included in the national squad.

He said that Rohail Nazir, Mohammad Rizwan, Usman Qadir, Zafar Gohar have also been made part of the team for the Pakistan vs Zimbabwe series.
Head coach Misbah-ul-Haq said in a press conference that Musa Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Muhammad Hasnain, and Wahab Riaz have also been included in the national squad.
During the press conference, the head coach said that he wants Sarfraz Ahmed to perform in first class and then back less. He said that the players who have been dropped will be given a chance next time.
