Sindh health officials confirm third coronavirus case

KARACHI: Sindh Health authorities have confirmed a new case of coronavirus in the metropolis, taking the r cases toll to three in Karachi.
According to Media Coordinator to the Health Minister Meeran Yousuf, a 69-years-old man, resident of district East Karachi, had a history of travel to Iran and returned home on 25th February 2020.
She said the patient was being observed by the health authorities and was tested positive when the symptoms showed up. A total of six coronavirus cases have been reported in Pakistan so far out of which three are in Sindh, two are in Balochistan and one is in Gilgit region.
Citing the details of cases Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health Dr Zafar Mirza said a  251 test of coronavirus suspects have been accomplished all over Pakistan which includes 59 in Islamabad, 75 Punjab, 68 in Sindh, KPK 24, Balochistan eight, AJK three and Gilgit Baltistan 14.  Out of 251 tests only six cases have been diagnosed as positive, he added.
Meanwhile, President Sindh Doctors Welfare Association (SDWA) Dr Mujtaba Memon in a statement has demanded a complete ban on all kinds of gatherings and big events in Sindh province to curb the spread of Coronavirus outbreak.
