The Sindh government has issued an official code of conduct for the collection of sacrificial animal hides during Eidul Adha in an effort to ensure the process remains organised and transparent.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Home Department, no individual or group will be allowed to collect hides, set up temporary camps, display banners or flags, or use loudspeakers without prior permission.
The move is aimed at preventing illegal activities and maintaining law and order during the Eid period.The notification further states that only registered charitable organisations, religious seminaries and welfare institutions with formal approval from the relevant district administration will be permitted to collect sacrificial hides.
Authorities have also warned that strict legal action will be taken against any individual or organisation found violating the prescribed rules and regulations.
The administration has been directed to closely monitor the entire process to ensure full compliance with the government’s directives.
