ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr. Shireen Mazari is scheduled to chair the parliamentary committee meeting on Monday at the Parliament House.
During the parliamentary committee which will be summoned on 9th December, the names will be decided from the government and opposition sides for the appointment of the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

The meeting would discuss six names selected from both sides.
The government has already proposed three names for the post of new chief election commissioner. The government’s nominees are incumbent ECP secretary Babar Yaqoob Fateh Muhammad, former federal secretaries Fazal Abbas Maiken and Arif Ahmad Khan.
