KARACHI: A foreign shipping vessel on Wednesday has run aground at Sea View coast in Karachi.
The carrier was returning to Hong Kong after offloading when it got stuck in the coast area. The Hang Tong Ship got stuck a few kilometres from Karachi’s Sea View coast.
The ship belonging to Shipping Line Supply was going back to Hong Kong after delivering goods when it got stuck due to high waves and a faulty engine.

Karachi Port Trust officials said Navy and KPT vessels have been dispatched to rescue the ship. However, they faced immense difficulties due to weather conditions.
