LAHORE: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid has underlined the need of prioritizing economy over the politics related to dissolution of assemblies.
He gave this subtle message in a post on Twitter after meeting Chairman PTI Imran Khan here on Saturday.

Taking to Twitter after his meeting, Sheikh Rashid said he had half an hour meeting with Imran Khan, and believed Khan knew for sure that Pakistan couldn’t afford political instability anymore.

Sheikh Rashid said elections were inevitable, and only political and economic stability could guarantee national security. He further said that PDM’s politics stood buried, no matter if elections were held two months earlier or later.

Dissolution of Assemblies, Sheikh Rashid said, wasn’t any problem (for Imran Khan), but the real objective was to save the economy of the country.
