The Sindh High Court has rejected the bail plea of Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch’s accomplice, Abdul Aziz, in six cases, as reported by national media on Monday.

According to details, the Sindh High Court heard the bail plea of Abdul Aziz, an accomplice of Uzair Baloch, in six cases. During the hearing, Special Public Prosecutor Rana Khalid argued that the accused remained absconding for 13 years in the cases; therefore, he is not entitled to bail.

Rana Khalid stated that the accused, along with his associates, attacked a police armored vehicle, which was destroyed in the assault, resulting in the martyrdom of a police officer.

The special public prosecutor further said that the weapon recovered from the accused matched the shells found in five cases, while his associate Uzair Baloch is currently in jail.

The defense counsel argued that the charges against the accused were false and that the evidence against him was insufficient.

Police stated that six cases have been registered against the accused in different Lyari police stations, including the killing of a police officer and several other charges. Later, the court rejected the accused’s bail plea in all six cases.
