DERBY: Pakistan opening batter Shan Masood, who is playing for the first time in the County Cricket, has shown rollicking form as he converted his maiden century into a double ton while representing Derbyshire.
While competing against Sussex in Division Two of the ongoing county championship, Shan continued his spectacular form and reached the worth-watching 200-run milestone in 266 balls with the help of 22 fours.
Shan Masood’s terrific run has helped him become the first Pakistan opener to score a double century in the tournament. His innings helped Derbyshire finish strongly on 327/2 at the conclusion of the opening day.
Derbyshire also informed about the development on their official Twitter handle in which they shared a video of Shan raining his bat after reaching the double-hundred.

It is worth adding that earlier, Shan also scored 91 and 62 respectively in his debut against Middlesex, which means that he is currently the highest runscorer of the tournament.
