LAHORE: Pakistan beats Bangladesh by 9 wickets in the second T20 International and won the three-match series at Gaddafi Stadium Lahore.
Muhammad Hafeez and Babar Azam scored 67 and 66 respectively and led the side to victory.
‘1st Innings’
Bangladesh scored 136 runs for 6 wickets in 20 overs. Tamim Iqbal was the highest scorer, as he scored 65 runs in 53 balls.
Muhammad Hasnian took 2 wickets for 20 runs. Haris Rauf, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shahdab Khan picked up one wicket apiece.
Earlier, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat.
Pakistan have a 1-0 lead in the series after they overhauled a modest 142-run target in 19.3 overs at the same venue yesterday.
Bangladesh have replaced Mohammad Mithun with Mahedi Hasan, while Pakistan are unchanged.
The series is a decisive one for Pakistan, who struggling to retain their top spot in the International Cricket Council’s world T20 ranking, which they have held since 2018.
