The King Abdulaziz University has opened thousands of fully funded scholarships for foreign students, including students from Pakistan.
These scholarships are for Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degree programs for international students. The program covers full tuition fees, free housing, annual round-trip travel (as per university rules), medical insurance, healthcare services, and a cash reward upon arrival. Students will also have access to university facilities and additional benefits.
Funded by the Saudi Ministry of Education, this scholarship program is part of the government’s efforts to promote academic exchange and global engagement. So far, 5,587 students from around the world have benefited from the initiative.
To be eligible, applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid passport with at least six months’ validity. Other requirements include a recent medical report proving the applicant is free of infectious diseases, financial proof or official guarantee, and language proficiency (except for Arabic-taught programs). Students under 18 must submit written approval from a guardian.
Pakistani students interested in applying must first obtain an acceptance letter from King Abdulaziz University. After receiving the letter, they can submit their application through the official “Study in Saudi” platform by visiting https://studyinsaudi.moe.gov.sa, clicking on “Search for a University,” and selecting “King Abdulaziz.”
There is no application fee, and both male and female students are encouraged to apply. The deadline for Bachelor’s degree applications is June 14, 2025, while the deadline for Master’s and PhD programs is October 31, 2025.
