RIYADH: Good news for Pakistani students as Saudi Arabia has announced 600 scholarships for Pakistani students willing to study in the kingdom.
According to the KSA, the scholarships are being offered for diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels in the kingdom.
A statement from the Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia said students residing in Pakistan and legal residents in the kingdom can apply for these scholarships.
Pakistani Envoy to Saudi Arabia, Bilal Akbar, said the 75% of the scholarships are reserved for the students in Pakistan and 25% are for the students already studying in Saudi Arabia.
The Embassy of Pakistan says that Pakistani students can avail this facility, students have to apply on the university website and online portal, each university will have its own standards and procedures.
Akbar said that the number of students in the scholarship will continue to increase every year while the conditions of the Saudi Ministry of Education in this regard are available on the website of the Pakistani embassy.
The scholarships include law, engineering, administration, economics and computer science, he said.
It is to be noted that there are 25 universities participating in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Scholarship for Pakistani students offering all fields of study or disciplines.
Many universities are considered as the top ranked universities for specific disciplines and pursuing higher studies with fully funded scholarships is a great opportunity for Pakistani students.
