Israel attacked Iran early Friday in strikes, killing top military officers and hitting nuclear and missile sites.
The Israeli attack hit several sites, including Iran’s main nuclear enrichment facility at Natanz, where black smoke could be seen rising into the air. Later in the morning, Israel said it had also destroyed dozens of radar installations and surface-to-air missile launchers in western Iran.

Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization (AEOI) said on Friday that a section of the Natanz nuclear facility sustained damage during an Israeli airstrike carried out early that morning. The AEOI reported no casualties or radioactive leaks as a result of the attack.

In a statement, the agency said that assessments were ongoing to determine the full extent of the damage. It strongly condemned the strike as a blatant violation of international law and criticized the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) for its silence, warning that such inaction could compromise the agency’s credibility.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the operation aimed to severely disrupt Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, missile production capabilities, and overall military strength.
