Former Pakistan all-rounder Imad Wasim has married social media influencer Naila Raja, prompting a public response from his former wife, Sania Ashfaq, who has levelled serious allegations in a video statement.
According to reports, Sania Ashfaq recently took to social media claiming that Imad Wasim was responsible for the death of their child. In her latest video message, she appealed to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi to intervene and order an investigation into the matter.
In her statement, she said she was speaking out with courage for the protection of her three children and alleged that she was receiving no financial support for them.
She further claimed that in December 2023 she was forced to undergo a miscarriage against her will.

Ashfaq also alleged that when she attempted to raise her voice, efforts were made to silence her, including what she described as a social media campaign against her.
She called upon the management of Islamabad United to take notice of the situation and reconsider Imad Wasim’s association with the franchise.
Emphasising the social responsibility of public figures, she said that individuals in the public eye must be accountable for their actions and should not present one image to the world while allegedly behaving differently in private.
There has been no immediate public response from Imad Wasim regarding the allegations.
