The re-release of Mawra Hocane and Harshvardhan Rane’s film Sanam Teri Kasam has made a historic record, surpassing Junaid Khan’s film Loveyapa and Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravi Kumar.
According to Indian media outlets (ET Now, Zoom TV, and Times Now) on Instagram, Sanam Teri Kasam gained a new life in cinemas, starting its business last week with Harshvardhan and Mawra Hocane in the lead roles.
The romantic drama film starring Mawra Hocane and Harshvardhan Rane earned Rs15.50 crore in its opening week, setting a box office record for any re-released Hindi film. In comparison, Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan’s debut film Loveyapa made Rs4.45 crore on its opening weekend, while Himesh Reshammiya’s Badass Ravi Kumar managed to earn Rs6.15 crore.
