Unidentified armed men looted Rs35 million from a cash carrying vehicle of Karakoram Cooperative Bank in the Kamol Nallah area of Darel Gilgit Baltistan.
According to detail, the cash was being transferred from Chilas to the bank’s Daril Gamari branch through security company Askari when the vehicle was intercepted.
Police reached the scene after the robbery was reported, cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to arrest the suspects. Bank sources and police confirmed the robbery.
