KARACHI: A lock-breaking group allegedly stole rims and tyres worth Rs15 million from a shop in Karachi’s Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Phase 2 area, police said.
According to details, the suspects broke the locks of the shop and escaped with a large quantity of rims and tyres.
Following the incident, police launched an operation to trace those involved in the theft.

Police officials said a vehicle loaded with the stolen goods was recovered from Shah Latif Town.
One suspect is also reported to have been arrested during the operation, while efforts are under way to identify and apprehend other members of the group.
Further investigation into the incident is currently under way.
