KARACHI: A rikshaw driver named Qasim Ali received plenty of appreciation from social media users when his rendition of Mehdi Hassan’s classic hit, Zindagi mein to sub hi pyar kiya karte hain went viral.
A user on Twitter uploaded his video along with his story which is quite disappointing.
According to the twitter user, Qasim Ali wanted to become a singer but poverty prevented him from pursuing his dreams.
The user also said, “This auto rickshaw driver in Karachi is an amazing talent, spotted him singing Mehdi Hassan’s songs at a stop. He wanted to be a classical singer but poverty shattered his dreams and he’s forced to drive rickshaw to earn his bread and butter.”
