The traffic police in Karachi have prepared a plan given the rush in the markets on the occasion of Eidul Fitr.
According to the traffic police, the entry of rickshaws, taxis or on-call taxis will be prohibited on Teen Talwar area to reduce the rush.
The traffic police have advised to use Clifton Bridge Race Course, Chaudhry Khaliq-uz-Zaman Road in case of rush on Teen Talwar area, while the entry of rickshaws and taxis will be prohibited from Tariq Road Allah Wali Chorangi to Ittehad Signal.
Similarly, the entry of rickshaws and taxis will be prohibited from Saddar, Fawara Chowk to GPO and Singer Chowk to Zeb-e-Nisa Street, while the entry of rickshaws and taxis will also be prohibited from Jamia Cloth Tibet Chowk to Eidgah Chowk.
According to the traffic police, traffic coming from Millennium Drug Road will be diverted from Millennium Bridge, rickshaws and taxis will be prohibited from entering Haideri Market Road, commercial traffic from North Karachi will be diverted from 5 Star Chowrangi to Shipowner Chowrangi and Landi Kotal Chowrangi, while traffic from Board Office will be diverted from KDA Chowrangi to Ziauddin Chowrangi and Pahar Ganj.
