RAWALPINDI: Pakistan on Monday resumed their innings on the fifth and last day of Rawalpindi test against England.

Pakistan need 263 runs, while England seek seven wickets to win the match. England’s Jimmy had the breakthrough on Day 5 when Imam-ul-Haq gloved down the leg side for 48.

Agha Salman, who scored 53 runs in the first innings for Pakistan, is up for the challenge on the final day of the first Test against England in Rawalpindi.
Speaking to the media after Pakistan appeared to be in control at the end of day 4, Agha stated that their goal for the match-deciding day is to take a winning approach.
Earlier, England declared their second innings at 264 for 7. On Day 4, Stokes led squad managed to get quick wickets after setting Shaheen’s target of 343 to secure a maiden win in historic Test series. Abdullah Shafique and skipper Babar Azam returned to the pavilion in their second innings before Imam-ul-Haq and Saud Shakeel ended day four at the crease on 80-2.
