The Metro Bus Service in Rawalpindi will be temporarily suspended from November 28 to December 1, 2024, to facilitate essential track restoration work.
During this period, the service will be unavailable between Saddar and Faizabad stations.
According to the Metro Bus administration, operations between Faizabad and the Pak Secretariat will continue uninterrupted, and full service is expected to resume on December 2.
The Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Service, inaugurated in 2015, is a vital public transportation system spanning 24.8 kilometers. It provides a fast, efficient alternative to traditional road transport, significantly reducing traffic congestion in the twin cities.
