KARACHI: Early morning drizzling in Sindh capital has turned the weather of the city pleasant and the severity of cold has also increased.
In areas of Karachi including Malir, Model Colony, Kharadar, Shara Faisal, Garden, Qayyumabad, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, and I. I. Chundrigar Road, heavy rain was witnessed, while light rain was reported in the Federal B area, Burns Road, North Nazimabad, and Nazimabad.
According to the Meteorological Department, northeast winds are blowing in Karachi at a speed of 15 km per hour, after which the minimum temperature in the city has been recorded at 16 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature is likely to be 26 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy and light rains will continue in Karachi till tomorrow.

The weather system brought snowfall or rain in several parts of Balochistan including Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Ziarat, Kohlu, Sibbi, Barkhan and Khuzdar, Naukkundi, Dalbandin, Pishin and Naseerabad, the PMD said.
