Qatar Air Force Commander meets COAS Bajwa

RAWALPINDI: Staff Major General Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet, Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force has called on Army Chief General Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), Commander Qatar General Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet met with the Army Chief and discussed professional matters and issues of regional security and mutual interest.

On the occasion, COAS Bajwa said that both countries attach great importance to relations with Qatar. The Pakistani military wants to boost ties with the Qatari armed forces in the defense sector.

While praising the role of the Pakistan Army in regional peace and security, Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet said that the role of the Pakistan Army in the training of the Qatar Armed Forces is commendable.

Earlier, the Chief of Qatar Air Force, accompanied by his delegation visited Air Headquarters Islamabad today. On his arrival, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan welcomed the guest.

A well-armed contingent of the Pakistan Air Force greeted the guest. The guest laid a wreath at the memorial to pay homage to the martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force.
