ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for National Health Services Abdul Qadir Patel has apprised the German officials of the unprecedented natural disaster in Sindh and Balochistan caused by recent flash flood.
Talking to German Parliamentary State Secretary for the Economic Affairs Cooperation Barbel Kofler in Berlin, Qadir Patel said that due to the unprecedented natural disaster in Sindh and Balochistan, the primary and basic health units were completely destroyed.
He said that his government was utilizing all resources to restore the health care infrastructure devastated by the recent floods.
The Minister told the German side that Pakistan needed immediate assistance from the international community to restore its health system in the flood affected areas.
Speaking on this occasion, German Parliamentary State Secretary for the Economic Affairs Cooperation Barbel Kofler assured Qadir Patel that his country would continue its full support for the flood victims in Pakistan.
