The Punjab government has started the process of submitting applications for scholarships for non-Muslim students for the year 2024-25.
Minority (non-Muslim) students from matriculation to PhD will be eligible for these scholarships.
Who is eligible and who is not?
- Those studying regularly in government educational institutions in the province of Punjab will be eligible.
- Students studying under Open Universities and Virtual Universities are not eligible to apply.
- A minimum of 40 percent marks from a recognized board or university is required for eligibility.
- The monthly income of the candidate’s family from all sources should not exceed Rs59,600.
How to apply?
- Applications will be accepted only on the website provided by the department through the online link imtps://scholarships-hrman.punjab.gov.pk.
- Complete applications received before the last date will be considered while all other applications will be considered invalid or ineligible.
- Minority students will take a printout of the online form after filling it out. They will get confirmation from the head of the current educational institution and the monthly income of the family from all sources.
- Any Grade 17 or above Government Gazetted Officer and the religious part can be verified from their respective religious institution.
- The application form will not be accepted without copies of the required documents certified by a Grade 17 or above Government Gazetted Officer. Otherwise, the application will be considered incomplete and will not be considered.
- The scrutiny of applications and the issuance of scholarships will be done as per the proposed policy of the department.
- Last date for submission of application online on the website provided by the department link https://scholarships-hima.punjab.gov.pk is 19th April 2025, (19.04.2025) till 12 midnight.
- Applications received by post will not be considered. It is the responsibility of the candidate to apply online before the last date.
