LAHORE: A ruffian raped a disabled teenage girl in Sherakot area of Lahore.
Reportedly, accused Tanveer raped a 14-year-old deaf and dumb girl in Sherakot. He took her to an empty house and assaulted her.
Police said that they had registered a complaint against the accused and the girl was sent to the hospital for her medical test.
The girl’s family said that it was receiving a threat of serious consequences from the accused in case it contacted the police.
Meanwhile, Punjab CM Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has taken notice of the matter and ordered police to take immediate action into the matter and provide prompt justice to the affected family. Directing the timely arrest of the rapist, Punjab CM asked the police to keep him updated about the progress on the case.
