LAHORE:Â Senor leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that his party is ready for reconciliation as well as collision, asking what does the ruling coalition alliance Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) wants?

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said it is up to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to decide if he wanted to victimize (PTI) or want to sit and talk.
He asked if the government wanted to see solidarity or anarchy and chaos? Shah Mehmood asked Shehbaz Sharif to decide if he wanted to invite (PTI for talks) or wanted to level allegations.Â
He further asked if the state institutions wanted surveillance of politicians and journalists, or that of terrorists?

Shah Mehmood said the three and half years of PTI’s tenure witnessed significant decline in terror incidents, while according to experts, the same had gone up by 52 to 53 percent during last 9 months.
He recalled that negotiations with banned TTP were initiated during Nawaz Sharif’s era in 2013, and military operation was launched only when talks failed.

He said the PTI has been asked to give details of Rs.417 billion given to KP by federal government, adding that the party wasn’t scared of providing details. He asked if Shehbaz Sharif was ready to hold himself accountable for dozens of extra-judicial killings in Punjab. He further said that the present rulers came to power to pursue their personal agenda, i.e. only to get their cases quashed.
Shah Mehmood asked if situation and condition in Pakistan deteriorated only after Peshawar blast? and hadn’t the people of Swat and Malakand come out, protesting over worsening law and order and security situation weeks ago?Â
