London: Members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) staged a protest outside the official residence of the British Prime Minister, demanding the release of Imran Khan and the restoration of the party’s political mandate to ensure stability in Pakistan.
Protesters emphasized that regaining the mandate taken from PTI is crucial for achieving political stability in the country. During the demonstration, PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari addressed the crowd, calling for the release of the party’s founder from jail. He condemned the alleged kidnapping of party member Intezar Panjautha, describing it as unacceptable.
In recent days, PTI supporters have also protested during a ceremony where former Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa was appointed as a Bencher at Middle Temple. Prominent PTI figures, including Maleeka Bukhari and Zulfi Bukhari, engaged with demonstrators at this event.
As the protest concluded, PTI activists surrounded Justice (retired) Qazi Faez Isa’s vehicle, leading to a chaotic scene as they threw punches and caused disturbances.
