Lahore: The legal team of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has filed a petition in the Lahore High Court (LHC) against the arrest of party chairman Imran Khan hours after he was taken into custody from his Lahore residence by the Islamabad police on Saturday.
In a post uploaded on Twitter, the PTI said “A has been filed in the Lahore High Court against the illegal detention of the Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf.”
Khan was arrested after a trial court in Islamabad granted him three-year imprisonment in the Toshakhana case.
