MULTAN:P Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Amir Dogar and several other party workers have been arrested from Multan on Wednesday.
At least 10 PTI workers were also arrested from Amir Dogar’s deera (guest house) as police raided the place for apprehending party workers involved in creating chaos outside an office of the Election Commission of Pakistan.
As per media reports, the arrests took plac following a clash between PTI and PML-N workers outside Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) district office.Â
In a statement, District Election Commissioner Saleem Akhtar said that political workers have vandalised the office of electoral watchdog and created chaos.
The election commissioner said that action will be taken against all those responsible for the commotion in the office.
