ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the final list of candidates for the upcoming Senate elections.
Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry announced the final list of candidates for the Senate polls.
In Balochistan, PTI had selected Abdul Qadir on general seat. In Sindh, PTI picked Faisal Vawda on general seat and Saifullah Abro on the technocrat seat.
In Islamabad, the party has selected Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Hafeez Shaikh. Fauzia Arshad had been selected on the reserved seats for women.
In Punjab, the general seats have been given to Saifullah Khan Nyazee (North Punjab), Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry (Central Punjab) and Aon Abbas Buppi (South Punjab). Ali Zafar has been selected for the technocrats seats while the reserved seat for women has been given to Dr Zarqa.
In Khyber Pakhtnkwa, Shibli Faraz, Mohsin Aziz, Zeeshan Khanzada, Faisal Saleem, Najibullah Khattak have been selected on general seats. Dost Muhammad Mehsud and Dr Humayun Mohmand have been given the technocrat’s seat.
The women’s seats will be given to Dr Sania Nishtar and Falak Naz Chitrali, and Gurdeep Singh has been picked on the minorties seat.
