A recent survey by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has assessed the performance of cellular mobile operators (CMOs) in Pakistan, with Ufone securing the top spot, followed by Zong, Jazz, and Telenor.
The rankings were based on the compliance levels of each key performance indicator (KPI) across various cities, as outlined in the quality of service (QoS) regulations.
The PTA conducted an independent QoS survey in 17 cities across Pakistan during the fourth quarter of 2024. In terms of coverage, Ufone emerged as the leading operator, with Zong, Jazz, and Telenor following in that order, Express Tribune reported on Sunday.

In the data tests, conducted in technology auto-detect mode, 4G/LTE signal strength samples were recorded along survey routes. Zong proved to be the most consistent performer, leading in the majority of cities with high compliance levels for 4G signal strength. Ufone followed closely, delivering strong performance across several areas.
Jazz showed satisfactory compliance but occasionally ranked below both Zong and Ufone. Telenor was found to be trailing behind the other operators. Overall, Zong topped the rankings, followed by Ufone, Jazz, and Telenor.
