KARACHI: Quetta Gladiators thrashed Karachi Kings by 5 wickets today (Sunday) in the sixth match of Pakistan Super League season 5 at National Stadium Karachi.
Quetta Gladiators chased the target of 157 runs in 19 overs. Azam Khan once again displayed his power hitting and was the highest scorer of Quetta side as he scored 46 runs in 30 balls.
Sarfraz Ahmed played captain innings and scored 37 runs for 28 balls and remained not-out. Shane Watson scored 27 runs for 20 balls.
Imad Wasim and Chris Jordan took 1 wicket apiece and other three batsmen were run-out.
‘1st Innings’
Karachi Kings scored 156 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs. Alex Hales was the highest scorer of Kings’ side after scoring 29 runs for 27 balls.
The young pacer Muhammad Hasnain took 3 wickets for 33 runs.
Earlier, Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to bat.
