MULTAN: Multan Sultans beat Quetta Gladiators by 30 runs in the twelfth match of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 5 at Multan Cricket Stadium.
Multan Sultan failed to chase the target of 200 as the team scored 197 runs for 7 wickets.
Shane Watson was the highest scorer of Quetta as he scored 80 runs in 41 balls with help of 7 fours and 7 sixes.
Jason Roy scored 30 runs in 27 balls. Last man of the match for Quetta, Ben Cutting couldn’t help his side to chase the target.
Bilawal Bhatti bowled superbly and took 3 wickets for 26 runs. Sohail Taniv went wicket-less in this match.
‘1st innings’
Multan Sultans scored 199 runs for 5 wickets. Rilee Rossouw scored the fastest century of PSL history as he scored 100 runs in just 44 balls.
Shan Masood also helped his side to reach a healthy target and scored 46 runs in 32 balls. James Vince scored 29 runs in 24 balls.
Ben Cutting, Nassem Shah, and Sohail Khan conceded more than 40 runs in their spells.
Earlier, Multan Sultan won the toss and elected to bat.
