Music and fireworks lit up Rawalpindi as the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kicked off on Friday with a dazzling opening ceremony.
The event featured captivating performances by legendary Sufi artist Abida Parveen, alongside Ali Zafar and other renowned musicians. Adding to the excitement, the singers of the PSL 10 anthem—Abrarul Haq, Natasha Baig, Talha Anjum, and Ali Zafar—took the stage to energize the crowd.
This season consists of 34 thrilling matches, including three double-headers scheduled for April 12, May 1, and May 10. The remaining fixtures will be single-headers, hosted across four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi. Afternoon games are set to begin at 4 PM PKT.
Six franchises will compete for the coveted USD 500,000 winner’s prize, while the runners-up will receive USD 200,000. The HBL PSL X Draft, held on January 13, allowed teams to strengthen their lineups ahead of the milestone edition.

The newly revamped Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host 13 matches this season, including the Qualifier, Eliminator, and the grand final on May 18. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will showcase 11 matches, with Multan Cricket Stadium and National Bank Stadium in Karachi hosting five matches each. This promises to be an unforgettable chapter in PSL history!
