KARACHI: Provincial Minister for Industries & Commerce and Cooperative Department & Anti-Corruption Jam Ikramullah Dharejo has said that protection of human lives is top priority of the provincial government.
He said Sindh government is standing with its people and the federal ministers are just in media and doing nothing except making the people fool.
He further said, “There is a false and distorted impression of hunger in Sindh, adding that Sindh cabinet ministers, assembly members, party office bearers have delivered ration to the doorsteps of deserving people in every constituency of Sindh”.
Provincial Minister Jam Ikramullah Dharejo said that the government was aware of the problems of industrialists and small traders in Sindh.
He said “We also wanted to open industries so that the stove in the worker’s house is not cold and the industrialists have to ensure that all SOPs recommended by Sindh government are implemented to prevent the spread of coronavirus”.
He added that the industrialists would send online applications to concerned department for opening of their industries which would be allowed to be opened after due inspection.
Jam Ikramuallah Dharejo asked the business community to ensure the safety of the workers and to take all safety measures to protect them from the coronavirus.
He said that Sindh government had already taken concrete steps against the coronavirus and “We would continue our struggle against it using all our resources”, adding that the war against coronavirus could not be won without public support”.
